The big party!

We had the big party today and I think it went really well! Viv has been feeling bad all week and she got her shots at the doctor yesterday which apparently caused a facial rash on Viv, today of all days! Here's the awesome cake that Katie Rowten made for her, she is super talented! All of the little sheep and farm animals were made of fondant and so cute!

My mom made the chili for everyone, she has the best chili in the world! Viv loved opening and playing with all of her new toys! She has been having so much fun already! Thanks to everyone for the great gifts!

Me and my sister Marcy were wearing almost the exact same thing but only with the colors switched. It wasn't planned, that's just how cool we are.

Viv was excited and scared to see her cake. Everyone sang very softly to her so she wouldn't cry!She immediately dug in but didn't get too messy. She really wanted to share with others, so she kept trying to feed me! I was hungry, so I took her up on her offer! Thanks Viv.
When a piece of cake fell onto her stomach she burst into tears! I guess that was the last straw! We took her to take a bath and finally she went down for a nap. Here's some of the things that she got today. Thanks everyone, she had a great party!

Happy Birthday Viv!

Well today was Viv's first birthday and she didn't feel that great today. That's why she doesn't have her usual smile in the pics. Hopefully she will be all better by the time of her party on Saturday! Here's Josh, Nancy and Viv today at the birthday lunch, they all share the same birthday! They didn't have a small enough sombero so they put some random backwards cap on Viv while they came over and sang Happy Birthday.

This is her the second the song stopped. She was pretty much on the verge of tears anytime she got sung to. I totally understand though because I have shed a tear or two when being sang to. I find it one of the most embarassing things in life.

She was finally happy tonight in class playing with the other birthday girl Jaylen. Well, she doesn't actually look happy here, but she really was! More pics to come on Saturday of the big festivities!

Oh, one last thing. While I was grocery shopping today at Crest, this elderly lade came up to me to look at Viv who was sleeping in her seat in the cart. She made some nice small talk about how precious Viv was and about how you just keep loving them more and more. I told her it was Viv's first birthday and we eventually parted ways. Well I went to the next aisle over and running up behind me was the little old lady! She handed me a $10 bill and told me to put it towards Viv's savings. I told her that I couldn't accept her money and she absolutely refused! I said, "But you don't even know me!" and she said, "I love doing things like this". Wow, what a cool things to do. I just had to tell the story because I couldn't believe a stranger would just come up and do that.

I can't believe it

I can't believe that my baby went from this little butterball... To this grown up looking girl! She's turning one tomorrow and I just can't believe how fast it's gone. It's been the best year of my life! And I know it's been the best year of hers!
When I picked her up today from Sonshine School and got her home she felt really hot. I took her temp and it was over 101 so I called the doctor. They just said to keep fluids going and give her Tylenol. She felt pretty bad all evening. I hope she feels better tomorrow, I don't want her to feel bad on her birthday! At least her party's not until Saturday, I'm sure she'll be better by then.

Finally together!

We finally got all three birthday girls together this morning at church, then we all went to lunch together after. It was a lot of fun, but I have to admit, Vivian is the "handful" of the bunch! She was trying to climb the stairs and take off crawling and when she came back down she kicked Addi in the head, so she started crying. Good little Jaylen was sitting there like a nice girl the whole time! It's not easy to get them all standing and looking at the camera at the same time, but this is close!

Birthday girls!

Well my last post about the photography special really worked because I have been doing photo shoots almost every day! That's why I haven't posted in a while, I know you're all on the edge of your seats wondering where I've been. Here are some pics of Viv and Addi (the other "Triplet") the other day after I took Addi's pictures at the park. I wish Jaylen had been there! "So, how have you been this year?" "Oh good, and you?"

Well, looks like Viv and her cousin Ace already have something in common! It's okay Ace, you're going to love it later on when you can splash and get your parents and the bathroom soaked!

Our Halloween Party

We had a lot of fun at our Halloween party last night and lots of people showed up. There weren't as many trick or treaters as we usually have, but it was still fun. Can anyone guess who me and Matt were? Leave your guesses in the comment area and I will tell who we were later on today! Clue: it's a married couple.

Ben and Dara were Jim and Pam from the office. Don't they look perfect? I told Dara she should always wear the cat makeup because she looks so cute!

Aidan and Viv had fun playing together and actually both went to sleep with all of us really loud adults in the living room.

They had fun looking outside the window at the dogs. Aidan used to really scream when she saw the dogs, but she's okay with them now. Plus, it was Daisy's birthday, so she couldn't scream at the birthday girl!

The girls were all in the dining room playing 90's Trivial Pursuit and the guys were watching a scary movie in the living room. Well, we were being so loud that they coundn't hear anything, so Matt hooked up like 6 pairs of headphones to the TV and they all sat there and watched the movie with their headphones on. Anna Jane went as a tourist and got all of the clothes from her mom's closet. Check out the denim hat that says WWJD!

Lucas helped me pull off a prank last night to scare the girls. I bought a scary mask at Wal-Mart and he put it on and went around the outside of the house to the backyard and ran up to the window and threw himself against the glass and all the girls screamed. It was perfect!
